Willow stakes - Polish Purple
Bundle of 10 ready to plant 12” willow cuttings. Salix purpurea “Polish Purple” grows well in our southern Piedmont environment as well as further north (zones 4-8). Can be used for basketry or living willow fences/ structures etc. Bark turns a beautiful reddish purple color at the end of the growing season, and can be coppiced annually for basketry or allowed to grow into a 10’- 12’ tall shrub. Grows taller and thicker rods than Dicky Meadows, better for living willow structures and fences.
